After a successful summer across all its routes, Ethiopian Airlines continues its expansion and announces the launch of a new international route.
The national carrier will launch a direct flight to Jizan at the beginning of February 2026, increasing the number of destinations served in Saudi Arabia to five.
Ethiopian Airlines will operate four flights per week on this route, departing Addis Ababa Bole at 11:45 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Ethiopian Airlines CEO Mesfin Tasew stated, “We are very pleased to inaugurate a direct flight to Jizan, a step that reflects our commitment to strengthening our services in Saudi Arabia.”
