Ethiopian Airlines is increasing the number of seats on its Addis Ababa – Seychelles route.
While it already operated a daily flight to Victoria Airport on Mahé, the Ethiopian national airline has decided to increase its service on this route in response to strong customer demand.
The new daily service announced by Ethiopian Airlines is part of its winter schedule, which includes several sunny destinations for those looking to escape the winter chill, such as the Seychelles, Zanzibar, and Mauritius.
The new flight is scheduled daily, departing Addis Ababa Bole at 9:30 a.m. and arriving at Victoria Airport in Seychelles at 2:20 p.m. The return flight departs Mahé at 5:50 p.m., arriving in the Ethiopian capital after a flight of 3 hours and 50 minutes.
To operate this new route, the Star Alliance member airline plans to use its Boeing 737-800 or 737 MAX 8, offering up to 160 seats in two classes: Economy and Cloud Nine (16 seats).
Ehiopian Airlines will maintain its existing flight schedule between the two airports, with a daily departure from Addis Ababa at 11:15 p.m. (arriving at Seychellois Airport at 4:05 a.m.), and a return flight departing Victoria Airport at 5:35 a.m. and landing at Addis Ababa Bole Airport at 8:25 a.m.
