Ethiopian Airlines celebrates 50 years of his Kinshasa service

In September 1975, Ethiopian Airlines launched his first flight to Kinsaha in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and today, the national airline celebrated its fiftieth anniversary on this road.

This service now covers 13 flights per week between Addis Ababa Bole and Kinshasa N’Djili.

On this occasion, a ceremony was organized at the Congolese capital airport in the presence of Mesfin Tasew, CEO of the Ethiopian Airlines group and several other senior officials of the Ethiopian airline as well as several managers of Kinshasa airport.

For Mr. Tasew: “Flights between Addis Abeba and Kinshasa has always been a unique service in Africa.”

Finally, fifty years after the first service between these two destinations “Ethiopian Airlines remains the only company to serve Kinshasa daily, and it will extend its services more in this large country in Central Africa.” he added.
