Launched in October 1975, Ethiopian Airlines’ medium-haul service between Addis Ababa and Kigali (capital of Rwanda) operates 24 times weekly, including three cargo flights.
On the occasion of this special event, Mesfin Tasew, Chairman and CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, declared during a ceremony held at the company’s headquarters: “The flight between Addis Ababa and Kigali has always been unique, and millions of passengers have enjoyed it for fifty years.”
Ethiopian Airlines will continue to operate this route at the same pace in terms of weekly frequencies, representing nearly 1,200 connections each year, including both commercial and cargo flights.
Ethiopian Airlines continues its expansion in Africa
The national airline announced a few days ago its arrival in Lagos, Nigeria, and its Murtala Muhammed Airport, which now benefits from up to fourteen connections per week.
