Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s aviation flag carrier, is expanding its impressive network with the addition of a new destination: Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The first flight is scheduled for November 1, 2024.
Starting early November, travelers will be able to fly to Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Addis Ababa Bole Airport, six times a week.
The flights will be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, one of the most modern aircraft in Ethiopian Airlines’ fleet. Known for its comfort and fuel efficiency, the Dreamliner is perfectly suited to deliver an unmatched travel experience on this new long-haul route.
With the addition of Dhaka, Ethiopian Airlines confirms its presence in South Asia, where it already serves several major cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Karachi, Chennai and Mumbai. Each destination is carefully selected to meet the company’s growth strategy, while meeting the needs of its customers.
