Ethiopian Airlines doubles flights between Cape Town and Addis Ababa

Ethiopian Airlines has just unveiled a new offering for its South African customers.

Since the end of March, the national carrier has significantly increased its flights between Cape Town and Addis Ababa, adding a daily flight to its schedule between the two capitals.

Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, explains: “Our airline has just embarked on a real development process from the tarmac in Cape Town by increasing its service to Addis Ababa to two daily flights.”

“We are working in close collaboration with Cape Town International Airport. We have found in its management a responsive partner that allows us to implement these advancements,” adds the head of the Star Alliance member airline.

The increased number of flights on this route allows Ethiopian Airlines customers travelling from South Africa to benefit from a wide choice of connecting flights from Addis Ababa Bole Airport, which is connected to more than 130 destinations, spread across four continents.
