Ethiopian Airlines strengthens its fleet with five Boeing 777X, dedicated to cargo service

Ethiopian Airlines is taking the next steps towards becoming a world leader in cargo operations. Ethiopian airline signed an agreement with Boeing for five 777-8F freighters. She plans to use the new 777-8F freighter to increase its cargo capacity. This new aircraft will help Ethiopian Airlines connect Africa with the world.

The new airplane is similar to the previous model, but has better fuel efficiency.The 777-8F is a new generation of long-range freighter. It has almost the same payload as the 747-400F. It is more efficient, cheaper, and cleaner.

Ethiopian Airlines has plans to buy new planes and increase its cargo capacity. She has ordered new planes to replace older ones.

According to Gebremariam, CEO of the Ethiopian airline, the latter should be one of the top cargo air operators in the world within thirteen years.
