Ethiopia’s flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has just announced the launch of its new direct Addis Ababa – Atlanta service – marking the first commercial flight between Ethiopia and the state capital of Georgia, in the USA. This new scheduled flights to the destination of the North American country will greatly expand connectivity between the two countries, allowing more people than ever to experience all that Ethiopia and Atlanta have to offer.
The new Ethiopian Airlines route will initially operate 4 times a week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights are provided by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, configured to accommodate 315 passengers in two cabins, with an average flight time of 13 hours 40 minutes.
