Ethiopian Airlines has opened its flight counter to Porto. The route, announced a few weeks ago, is now a regular feature of the national airline’s schedule, with three weekly flights operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners, including a stopover in Porto.
Tickets are now on sale at ethiopianairlines.com, and on this occasion, Mesfin Tasew, CEO of the Ethiopian airline, announced “With this direct service between Ethiopia and Portugal, our flights to Porto will give our customers a new connectivity option in Europe.”
This flight joins many other routes recently opened by Africa’s number one airline (according to Skytrax) to key destinations around the world, such as Lagos (Nigeria); Warsaw (Poland); Hyderabad (India); Moscow (Russia); Sharjah and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
The Addis Ababa – Porto flight is also a service that contributes to the strengthening of Ethiopian Airlines’ international network with more than 130 destinations, including 24 destinations in Europe.
