Ethiopian Airlines increases flights to Sharjah

Ethiopian Airlines has unveiled its plan to expand its Addis Ababa-Sharjah route.

The national airline currently serves the Emirati destination’s international airport four times a week, but plans to increase this route to a daily flight starting next month.

Starting October 26, 2025, Ethiopian Airlines will introduce a new and enhanced offering with the introduction of additional scheduled flights on its Addis Ababa Bole-Sharjah route.

This flight, operated by a 160-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8 (16 seats in Business Class), currently operates on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:05 PM.

In this Gulf country, the Star Alliance airline also serves Dubai with three daily non-stop flights offered year-round from its Addis Ababa Bole hub.

Outbound flights are scheduled for 9:45 p.m., 10:30 a.m. and 10:50 p.m., while return flights (from Dubai) depart at 4:25 a.m., 5:40 a.m. and 5:10 p.m.
