Ethiopian national carrier Ethiopian Airlines transports vaccines from Beijing to Harare

Ethiopian Airlines said on Wednesday it had transported a number of COVID-19 vaccines from Beijing to Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.

The vaccines were transported in a single flight from Beijing to Harare via Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, and reached their destination on Wednesday, Ethiopian Airlines said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Ethiopian Airlines also carried vaccines donated by the Chinese government to Ethiopia, which arrived at Addis Ababa / Bole International Airport, in the presence of senior Ethiopian government officials as well as Chinese diplomats.
