Ethiopian Airlines strengthens its presence in Lagos with a new daily flight

Ethiopian Airlines has announced the addition of a daily flight between its Addis Ababa Bole base and Lagos – Murtala Muhammed bringing the total to two daily connections to the Nigerian capital’s international airport.

The Star Alliance airline has added a second daily frequency to its flight schedule to Lagos.

This route welcomes nearly 300,000 passengers each year with a load factor of around 90%.

The launch of this new daily flight confirms the strong presence of the Star Alliance airline in Lagos: “The opening of this new route once again demonstrates Lagos’ position as a key hub on the continent,” said Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, during the launch ceremony.

With the new service introduced by Ethiopian Airlines, the company now offers departures from Addis Ababa at 9:00 am and again at 11:55 pm.
