Ethiopian Airlines has restarted its flights to Port Sudan. Indeed, this regular flight was launched in October 2024, but later suspended due to the war started in the country located in Northeast Africa after the situation had significantly improved in the country.
Currently, Ethiopian Airlines will operate one daily flight to Port Sudan International Airport, then increase to two flights per day from November 2, 2025.
Ethiopian Airlines strengthens its regional offering
The airline intends to offer more flights to two major centers in Nigeria, during this winter with the extension of its offer to Abuja and Lagos benefiting respectively from 10 and 14 weekly connections from Addis Ababa Bole airport.
Two new developments in Africa and the Middle East
As part of its expansion, alliance airline Skytrax announced the opening of a new route to Porto in Portugal; served with three weekly flights; and another to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, operated up to four times a week.
