Ethiopian Airlines flights to several countries in the Middle East are temporarily suspended.
The national airline has suspended three routes until further notice, until the situation returns to normal.
In light of the war that has been raging in the region since last weekend, Ethiopian Airlines has decided to cancel and postpone all its scheduled flights from Addis Ababa Bole to Amman – Queen Alia (Jordan), Beirut – Rafik Hariri (Lebanon), and Dammam King Fahd (Saudi Arabia).
In a statement, Ethiopian Airlines announced: “The safety and security of our flights, our customers and our crews is an absolute priority.”
In this situation, Ethiopian Airlines passengers are offered two options: either change their departure date free of charge or cancel their ticket and receive a refund.
Many other airlines have announced progressive suspension periods to these destinations and several other Middle Eastern countries without giving a specific date for the resumption of the flights in question.
