Ethiopian Airlines won several awards from AFRAA (African Airlines Association) at its 57th Annual General Meeting, held in Luanda, Angola, from November 30 to December 2.
Four awards were presented to the Star Alliance member airline, recognizing its status as a leading airline on the African continent.
The AFRAA jury, composed of industry experts and travelers, selected:
– Best airline with the highest profitability of global operations for 2024.
– The airline offering the best connectivity in Africa.
– The airline making the greatest contribution to the aviation industry on the African continent.
– The airline playing a key role in the implementation and development of the major “Free Route Airspace in Africa” project.
Mesfin Tasew, CEO of the Ethiopian Airlines Group, attended the ceremony and stated, “We are very grateful for the support and trust shown by the AFRAA jury members and travelers. We will continue to provide our passengers with a five-star level of service, as well as greater comfort and safety”.
