Ethiopian Airlines aims to reach the course of $ 25 billion in turnover

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading airline, which has traditionally finished its operations on a high note each year, is targeting a whopping $25 billion in revenue by 2035.

This ambitious goal is ingrained in the airline’s DNA, and it has successfully achieved the title of “Best African Airline” awarded by Skytrax for the past eight years.

Thanks to a young, modern, and powerful fleet, and a dedicated, motivated, and highly qualified team, Ethiopia’s national airline is pursuing its growth strategy. The Ethiopian carrier is still aiming to strengthen its fleet to further expand its destination network, which currently comprises 132 international destinations in 83 countries.

Ethiopia will have a mega airport

A new project on the construction of a mega airport will be launched at the start of the year, the fruit of a partnership between Ethiopian Airlines and the country’s government.

The new airport will have to open its doors in 2029 and will be ready to welcome up to sixty million passengers per year. It will be the largest in Africa, will thus help the national airline strengthen its leading and global leader position.
