2025 was a successful year for Ethiopian Airlines, which has just received another award.
The national airline won the “National Quality Excellence Award” at the 12th annual national awards ceremony, held on December 2nd at the National Palace in Addis Ababa.
The “First Level Award of Excellence” is presented annually to companies and organizations that achieve excellence in quality and operational performance, following a thorough evaluation of several key criteria conducted by experts, including:
– Leadership and Governance
– Strategy and Planning
– Human Resource Management
– Operational Process Management
– Customer Service/Passenger Experience
– Innovation and Technology
– Overall Results and Performance.
Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, stated: “This award is a great honor for us, but also a well-deserved achievement.” It took us years of hard work to triumph in such a prestigious category.
Since the beginning of the year, Ethiopian Airlines has won several global awards, including the “Africa’s Leading Airline” award from Skytrax; the Outstanding Food Service by a Carrier – Africa award; “Cabin Concept of the Year” in recognition of cabin innovation and comfort; the “Four-Star Global Airline” award from APEX and most recently, the AFRAA award.
