Ethiopian Airlines Inaugurates New Silver Lounge at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport
Ethiopian Airlines has added another string to its bow with the opening of a sumptuous Silver Lounge at the heart of Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Designed to pamper passengers with silver status under its ShebaMiles loyalty program, the new space promises an exceptional waiting experience.
The new lounge spans an impressive 810 m² and can accommodate up to 200 people, providing an oasis of comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the terminals. The sleek and modern interior design is perfectly in line with the airline’s brand image.
A space designed for comfort and relaxation
Visitors to the Silver Lounge can enjoy a variety of luxurious amenities aimed at making their wait as pleasant as possible. The lounge offers dining areas equipped with varied buffet services, offering a range of hot and cold dishes, reflecting the culinary richness of Ethiopia as well as international cuisines.
Passenger comfort is a top priority with multiple seating arrangements, ranging from plush sofas to leather armchairs ideal for relaxing before the flight. For those travelling with families, a dedicated children’s area allows the little ones to be entertained in a suitable and secure environment.
In addition to comfort, the lounge also offers ample storage space, allowing passengers to store their luggage safely and move freely around the space without being crowded.

The Silver Lounge complements Ethiopian Airlines’ already rich offering of airport lounges. The airline already has several exclusive areas, including a lounge for Cloud Nine, ShebaMiles Platinum members, as well as Star Alliance Gold members.
