A new flight announced by Ethiopian Airlines to Port Harcourt marks the strengthening of its services to Nigeria.
On December 1st, the Ethiopian national carrier will operate its inaugural flight to Port Harcourt International Airport, its fifth destination in the West African country.
Flights to Port Harcourt will operate four times a week, departing Addis Ababa Bole at 9:30 a.m. (arriving in Port Harcourt at 12:25 p.m.). The return flight will depart at 1:25 p.m. and arrive back in Ethiopia at 8:45 p.m.
The Nigerian destination is thus served year-round by Ethiopian Airlines’ Boeing 737 MAX 8, which can accommodate 160 seats in two cabins: 16 seats in Business Class and 144 seats in Economy Class.
According to Firiehiwot Mekonnen, General Manager of Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria: “The launch of a flight to Port Harcourt expands our airline’s presence in a key market.”

Port Harcourt is a new Nigerian destination joining the network of Africa’s largest airline, which already serves Abuja, Enugu, Kano, and Lagos, operating a total of 53 weekly flights from its hub at Addis Ababa Bole.
