On October 20, Sudanese airline Tarco Aviation operated its first flight between Addis Ababa and Port Sudan, announcing the start of an international service aimed at both leisure and business travelers.
This flight now operates once a week, on Mondays, aboard a Boeing 737. It departs from Addis Ababa Bole Airport at 1:00 p.m. and arrives in Port Sudan at 2:00 p.m.

Passengers traveling in Economy Class are entitled to a baggage allowance that includes one piece of carry-on baggage weighing 7 kg and one piece of checked baggage weighing 23 kg.
Passengers traveling in Business Class are permitted to carry one piece of cabin baggage weighing 7 kg and two pieces of checked baggage weighing 23 kg each. Priority boarding is included.
On this new international route, Tarco Airlines will compete directly with Ethiopian Airlines serving Port Sudan daily.
