Ethiopian Airlines continues to strengthen its presence in the Congolese market. Africa’s leading airline has announced the addition of an extra flight to its schedule between Addis Ababa and Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The national carrier will increase its service on the Addis Ababa-Frihail Heath (ADD-FIH) route to three daily flights starting December 1st of this year, bringing the total number of weekly flights between the two African airports to 21.
New ADD-FIH flight schedule
Flight ET841, connecting Addis Ababa Bole to Kinshasa Ndjili, will depart at 10:00 AM (arriving at 12:10 PM), while the other two flights (ET865 and ET843) will depart at 4:30 PM and 10:45 PM respectively (arriving at 4:30 PM and 10:45 PM).
Return flights will depart the Congolese capital at 6:30 a.m., 1:25 p.m., and 10:25 p.m., arriving in Ethiopia at 1:00 p.m., 7:55 p.m., and 5:05 a.m. (local time).
These flights are operated with Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft (2 cabins, 160 seats), and occasionally with Airbus A350 aircraft, which can accommodate over 300 passengers in two classes, including 30 passengers in Cloud Nine class.
