Ethiopian Airlines has launched two new flights in Africa, connecting Addis Ababa to Durban, South Africa.
The national carrier will operate its inaugural flight on December 11 of this year using a 160-seat Boeing 737 MAX in a two-cabin configuration: 144 Economy Class seats and 16 Business Class seats (Cloud Nine).

According to AeroRoutes, the flight from Addis Ababa Bole departs at 8:45 a.m. and arrives at Durban King Shaka Airport at 1:25 p.m.
According to Musa Zondi, MEC KwaZulu-Natal for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in South Africa:
“Durban is a very popular winter destination, and this new route from Addis Ababa meets a strong demand.”
Third destination for Ethiopian Airlines in South Africa
Noting that Durban has become the third South African city to join Ethiopian Airlines’ network, which now boasts over sixty destinations across the African continent, the latest being Port Harcourt.
