In a recent announcement, Ethiopian Airlines unveiled new routes to Conakry, Guinea. Starting from the end of November, the Ethiopian carrier will integrate three weekly departures to the West African country destination.
The flights will depart from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport on board a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, offering passengers a comfortable journey over a long distance of 7,380 km. The flight duration is estimated at 9 hours. Flights to Conakry will arrive in the afternoon, while flights back to Ethiopia will depart in the morning of the following days.
Interestingly, this route is not entirely new to Ethiopian Airlines. It was already on the airline’s schedule, with a stopover in Ouagadougou, before being suspended in 2010.
With this new route, Conakry becomes the fifth destination served by Ethiopian Airlines in Africa.
